1) If you could choose just one, what was your favorite moment from the wedding weekend?

If I must choose one of my favorite moments of my wedding it would be the moment I took to myself just before walking down the aisle. I made sure everyone in the wedding party lined up properly and sent them off. I stood next to my father and listened to the sound of Norah Jones singing Love Me Tender and took in the moment. I wasn’t nervous and felt the most confident in my life. I knew Jesse was right for me. A few deep breaths and I held my father’s arm and walked around the cedar trees to walk up the aisle to my future.

2) Did you use WedPics for your wedding?  If so,  tell us a little bit about why you chose to use Wedpics and how did it work out for you?

I did use the WedPics for our wedding and glad that I had. I saw the WedPics app and decided to give the idea a try. I know in the past the old wind-up cameras were available at the receptions to take pictures of guest at each table. The WedPic app is the new version of this and I was able to see/share the pictures instantly. I sent the app request to my friends and family at least 2 weeks before our wedding and slowly revealed photos of my wedding party and preparations. I am very happy that I got to see photos of all different angles by my guests.

3) What kind of personal touches did you add to your wedding?

There were many different personal touches of mine in our wedding but my favorite was one I had added last minute for my husband. I was having trouble deciding on what kind of limousine I wanted to transport me and the wedding party to and from the reception. After a visit with my Uncle Kevin, he suggested to ask members of our community to drive their classic cars. After a few phone calls we got 6 classic Chevrolets from 1955 to 1962. My husband was very surprised and loved the late addition.

4) If you could give one piece advice for future couples planning their wedding, what would that be?

My one piece of advice is to always remember the love you and your husband-to-be share. The wedding, whether big or small, is just to celebrate your love for each other with your family and friends. Many brides may get over whelmed with the planning to make sure that everything is perfect, but need to step back and remind yourself of this. I once asked someone close to me what is the most important part of the wedding and they said “the decorations, the music, and food”. I quickly responded with “the most important thing to me is Jesse showing up and saying I do” the rest will all fall together and we won’t dwell on the imperfections. Enjoy the love between you and your spouse and have a great life together.
