There is nothing quite as fun as a wedding that has a theme! What better way to highlight a unique and interesting love story than with a theme that brings out the personality of both you and your partner. Today's couple Melissa and Joel were married on the Weller's Estate in Ann Arbor Michigan. They celebrated their union with a stunning and fun 50's vintage garden party themed wedding! This wedding is so unique and fun, and you can tell that all of the guests just had a blast!
From Melissa & Joel: We were going for a late 50's style garden cocktail party. We wanted our wedding to be welcoming, joyful and not too stuffy or formal. The best moments of the day were spending time with family and friends before the ceremony and getting to catch up with all of our guests during the ceremony and taking a private moment together to step back, breathe and take it all in. We were surprised the weather held out! It had rained the entire week leading up to our wedding and spring was very late this year. The week before the wedding there was hardly a bloom on any of the trees, but the day of our wedding everything just bloomed and the venue looked beautiful. Our smartest vendor choices were hair and makeup with Mi Amore and photos with First Comes Love Photo! If we had to advise any wedding-planning-couples it would be this: We spent a lot of time the week before the wedding talking through our rehearsal and wedding day timeline together. We did our best to build in time to travel to locations and considered all of the small things involved with setting up and tearing down. It made a big difference in how calm we were on the day of our wedding.
Captured beautifully by First Comes Love Photo, this wedding is sure to make you consider a theme and style that is unique to you and your partner! Read on to see more of this incredibly stunning and fun wedding.
