Colorful Estes Park, Colorado Wedding
by Christina Child

When I attended this colorful Estes Park, Colorado wedding last summer I knew it was destined to be featured on the WedPics blog.  Kellie and Rob are *personal friends who live in Vail with their two adorable dogs.  I can say, without a doubt, that this is one of the most beautiful, expertly curated weddings I've ever had the privilege to attend.

Kellie and Rob were roommates in Vail before quickly realizing they were falling for each other.  Four years later they tied the knot in a July ceremony at Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park, which boasts stunning mountains views and a spectacular outdoor & reception space.  Every detail of this this gorgeous wedding was brought together with impeccable style, from the custom watercolor invitation suite, eclectic furniture, table settings, and AMAZING floral arrangements that hung from the reception hall ceiling in hand-crafted macrame hangers.  These two surprised guests with late night Blizzards from Dairy Queen, and closed the night with a hot tub party.

On the wedding day Rob gave the maid of honor a handful of Alex & Ani bracelets to surprise Kellie with throughout the getting ready and first look phase of the day.  She says she wears one or two every day as a fun reminder of the best day ever :)

Kellie's bridal advice is to have fun planning the wedding and not take it for granted because you only get to do it once! "It will turn out magically no matter what because you're standing next to your best friend in marriage."

The wedding was photographed by Laura Murray Photography and wedding planning/design was provided by Milk Glass Productions.

*Fun fact: One of the dresses that was pulled for me during a recent dress consultation was Kellie's exact reception dress :)  Thank you Kellie for allowing me to feature your wedding - you are a beautiful soul, both inside and out (and I can't wait to see you at my wedding in October!).

From the Bride:

After our love survived two last years of high school, a year of long distance dating, several near death encounters upon mountain tops, two crazy summers filled with insane work schedules, and a school year spent in Denver, Nate proposed atop the same mountain where he asked me to be his girlfriend.

"Our post-wedding happily-ever-after includes plans for a cross country road trip, many early morning coffee dates, revamping our tiny apartment, spur of the moment city park picnics, mountain climbing adventures, late night popcorn binges, and lots of quality family and friend time. You can find the entire proposal story where Nate lost the ring on my personal blog."

A charming Sonoma wedding by Brumley and Wells
by Stephanie

A wedding is many things — a beginning to a fulfilling marriage, a big party for family and friends, a milestone in life — which is why when a wedding day comes together in an absolutely beautiful way, there's really nothing better! Today's charming Sonoma wedding was one such momentous occasion, which celebrated the love of the bride and groom, Grace and Brandon, in a special and intimate way.

Words won't really do this elegant and sophisticated day justice, so we'll just hop right into this stunning day, captured by Brumley And Wells, with a few words from the bride!

From The Bride…

"Brandon and I met at our grad school orientation in San Francisco. After a handsome stranger approached me and introduced himself, I nervously bumbled my way through a conversation with him. Luckily, Brandon was swept away by my awkward charm, and I was happy to discover that he was as kind and hilarious as he was good looking. We quickly and easily became friends, and then more than that. We were both pursuing Masters degrees in Sport Management and, as avid sports fans, many of our relationship milestones occurred on the hallowed grounds of Bay Area sports venues: our first time hanging out outside of class; our first date; the night we became official. And then, after celebrating our first dating anniversary at the ballpark, Brandon proposed to me as post-game fireworks exploded in the background."

"We knew our wedding day would be important to us because we would have the chance to proclaim our love to each other in front of those who matter most to us – and we wanted to take full advantage of the fact that everyone we love would be together for an evening. We set out to plan a wedding that was classic, romantic, fun, and unique all at once. When we found Cornerstone, we fell in love with the venue – the vineyard lawn, the beautiful dinner tent, and, most of all, the gorgeous garden barn."

"Not many couples had used the barn as a ceremony site, but we couldn’t resist using it as a chapel and, after dinner, repurposing it into a reception area. When I walked down the aisle, all my eyes could see was my sweet future husband waiting for me at the end, so it has been wonderful to look back on the photographs and see the barn in its ceremonial glory. The rose petals lining the aisle, the beautiful wildflower-style bouquets and arrangements, the antique white tables and chairs against the brown wood of the barn, just how stunning my bridesmaids looked. The images take my breath away."

"Brandon and I have to brag that dinner was bomb, and our friends and family definitely held down the dance floor! Time flies when you’re enjoying yourself – and when we pulled away from the venue as the reception wrapped up, we looked at each other and said 'Did that really just happen?' "

"We were hoping to make our celebration memorable for everyone involved – and in the end, the day was all that Brandon and I dreamed it would be. No worries, no stress – just truly the best day ever with the best people."

A huge congrats to Grace and Brandon — for a beautiful wedding, and for the beginning of a wonderful marriage! Thanks to Brumley And Wells for the photos, let us know your favorite moment in the comments!
